Swam my first 10 length set today. :-)

    After I’d already swum 30 lengths as 7.5x 4 length sets ;-)

After I’d ridden over 145 km yesterday in and around Chilterns :D

    I’m happy, obviously.

    Shame on you, LCC

Using a double negative to fool people into allowing you to mail them is one of the cheap tricks of trade for spammers and unethical websites. Not something I’d expect of a reputed cycling advocacy charity.

P.S.: I did submit the petition. But that’s because I believe strongly in the cause. That stupid checkbox label almost put me off signing it, though.

    Love. Hate. Cyclists. Drivers.

[P.S.: Even as enthusiastic a cycling supporter as me believes that to be a bit of an exaggeration :)]

After today’s 22 mile ride to/around/from Richmond Park, my total for the year stands at 2,158 miles.

Steve, with cooler temperatures already upon him, is at 2,452 miles.

    Difference: 294 miles.

With winter almost round the corner, can I catch him?
Also, my initial target for the year was 3,000 miles – still achievable?

You have a chance, but be warned that after this weekend’s running race, I shall renew my efforts regardless of the weather. I will do you the honor of giving you my best effort!

Another good bit about yesterday’s ride around LDN: I’m now under 400miles behind Steve in this year’s tally. Just to think about a month ago I was almost 600 miles off.

P.S.: Some credit due to those dying trees in his garden too, that kept him off the road for 2 weeks ;)
